Frank, a riverboat guide, has spent many of his years sending tourists down a river so that they can see many of the sights that lay about. However, Frank soon changes his ambitions from just being a guide when he teams up with Lily Houghton, a woman looking to solve mysteries that can lead both of them to great knowledge and riches. However, both of them will run into trouble on their journey that could lead them to death.
